Halloween Excitement

This Halloween we had a great excuse to dress up. Since we both work at the same daycare facility, we decided to get in the spirit and dress up for the school. We had a lot of fun being a pirate and his tavern lady! Tinker Belle was the unsuspecting princess who was shanghaid by pirates. She was so cute and such a good sport in her little costume. She was totally warn out by the fun of the day! Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!

Day at the Fair!
We had the chance to go to the state fair with Ma & Pa Zumwalt. Later that night we went to the free consert and got our picture taken with Peter Brienholt. It was so much fun.

Trip to Argentina!
We had the blessing of visiting Mom and Dad Olsen in Argentina between the 8th and 17th of August. It was a very nice experience. Cordoba is very different than we had anticipated. The food was really good and the people were very friendly.
We experienced very beautiful scenery.
We attended a cermony where the church donated 13 wheelchairs to those in need, mostly children. The little boy in this picture was only 5 years old and was SO excited to be on wheels!
Outside the cathedral in Alta Gracia, supposedly one of the oldest in the country.
He won the Masters.
A shrine in the cove dedicated to the Virgin de Itati.
Happy Family!

Marching update!
Hi again everyone! Our lives right now are not terribly exciting, sorry! We do have some good news; as I am posting this Crissy is in a job interview! It is at the child care place she worked at before, but this time with a different age group. She is excited to have another chance to work with kids! We hope this interview goes good!
I am still promoting my lawn business.
Spring time in Utah is crazy! Saturday was nearly 65! Sunday night and Monday we got 6 inches plus at the house! And today should get up around 50 again! Makes for really great spring skiing conditions, but not much else!

Happy Family: Christmas Time!
Christmas was great for us this year! We were able to spend time with both of our families! Our nephews from the east coast have grown so much since we last saw them! We are able to see our niece and nephews that live here all the time, but they have grown a bunch, too. Where did 2008 go?! It is always fun to see family, especially around the holidays. The only bad part about the holidays is that not all of our families were able to spend time together. Scott's parents are serving as mission presidents in Cordoba Argentina. Scott's brother who has only been home since August is with their parents for Christmas. His oldest sister in Colorado was not able to come home for the holiday either. I have a brother and sister out of state too. Brother in Colorado and sister in Texas. We love them all and wish them the best for the holiday and every day of the year!
Christmas is a great opportunity to spend time with family. We had lots of fun with our cousins and siblings. I look more like my mom all the time. Crazy how that happens! I love every minute of it!
We have so much fun watching the kids play. You never need a TV if you have toddlers around you! They are so full of imagination!
We love you all very much and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Thanksgiving Fun!!
We went to Colorado Springs for Thanksgiving and spent time with Scott's oldest sister and her family! It was so much fun. Scott helped his brother-in-law finish the drywall in their garage. The kids loved playing with Tink and holding her. It was cute to watch Lizzie trying to be her mom.
We went to the Garden of the Gods and went on a hike. We watched some people climb a really thin wall. There was some snow on the ground, so the kids made the most of it and had a small snowball fight.
We played twister and watched movies, spending some quality time with the Leishmans.
The girls and I helped Paula get dinner ready, and oh boy it was wonderful. This trip was fun and we hope to do it again. It took 12 1/2 hours for us to get home because of the snow. It was a long ride, but in the long run it was good.

The Olsen's Latest
We have not posted for a long time, so here is the news... Scott And I have been busy working and schooling, which is always fun, even though it is tuff going sometimes. Well Scott's brother, Ryan has been home for just over a month now from his mission, so Scott is loving having someone to quote movie lines with. It's also nice for him to have one sibling around, that is when he comes up from BYU for the weekend.
I got our Halloween decorations out and I realized that I actually have a place to decorate! When we lived at the Village it was hard to hang stuff up because of the beautiful warm cinderblock walls! But now I finally get to make it look nice and not cluttered. Its great! Well, as you can see, there is not much going on in our lives; no babies, no nothing. Just two young kids madly in love getting through life.
OK now for some pics. We took pictures with my family and here are a few of the better ones. They are great! Love you all! And we wish you all the best! We even had Pat and Katie here for the pictures, as well as Jackie and the kids. We loved having them here and we miss them so much. We hope to see them all soon!

Were Alive!
Here are a few things we have been up to. First of all we have been at Ma&Pa Olsen's doing yard work and the front yard is done! (Ignore the brown on the grass, it is coming back, slowly.) Second, Mikey and Netty had baby Allie! She is so cute! We had pics of us holding her but they got erased, so the next best thing was her being held by her parents. The next Tate's out of it smile when he and Jackson slept over. He was smiling trying to stay awake. Last but not least, yes its short but we love it! Crissy was daring and did a hair style she has never tried before. Well there is the update and as we do the back yard and start school we will post agian.
